Science of Smoking Study (SOS)

This is a study investigating the genetics of nicotine dependence. Smokers and non-smokers are needed and will be compensated for their time.

ADEPT (A Dental Education Program in Tobacco)

This study will test different strategies for providing tobacco treatment services in the dental office. Approximately 60 clinics will be enrolled in this program over the next 3 years. 

If your dental provider's office is a participating site, you will be asked if you wish to participate.

PHD II (Public Health Dentistry, II)

This study will evaluate different methods for treating tobacco users in public health dental clinics.  This study is being conducted in Oregon, New York and Mississippi.  We will enroll six clinics in the central Mississippi area.

If you visit a participating clinic, you will be asked to participate.
