Overview
The
primary goal of the ACT Center Research Program is to advance
scientific knowledge related to tobacco use and cessation.
Investigations
have addressed:
- basic science (genetics, psychological mechanisms)
- applied clinical (assessment strategies, treatment strategies,
subpopulations, treatment efficacy)
- public health (larger
scale treatment deployment, treatment effectiveness / cost-effectiveness)
